Folkert de Jong (Dutch, b. 1972)
Folkert de Jong, Actus Tragicus sculpture
A crude mixture of allegory and realism, this disturbing crowd scene in the typical Bruegel manner contrasts vice and excess with virtue and abstinence in innumerable individual scenes.

Between 1994 and 2000 he studied at the Rijks academy for Visual Arts and Academy for Visual Arts in Amsterdam.
